Clean, spacious, and scenic. Everything about this stay was perfect. Our room was huge and very clean, providing plenty of space to relax and for our baby to crawl around. The pool is great, and the views are stunning!! What really made the difference, though, was the friendly staff—they were so helpful and kind. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Have stayed here twice so far (once in 2023 and 2024) and really like this hotel. Wish there were restaurant options on site. The pool didn’t work both times we came. The location is great and the rooms are super clean and cozy and spacious. Staff is hit or miss with service depends who you get. Parking is easy underground. Will be back for sure

A phenomenal experience all around this weekend staying at the Rundlestone in Banff. After planning a last minute birthday trip to Banff for the weekend, I can confirm that the hotel both met and exceeded our expectations for the perfect getaway. To start, the staff we encountered while booking and while at the hotel were all extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up staying in the most beautiful king suite with a spacious multi level layout and perfect view of the mountains. The hot tub and pool were both perfect with lots of room in the hot tub, places for kids to play and parents to sit and watch. The location of the lodge was perfect and we were able to walk to all of the birthday celebrations within minutes. Additionally, the included underground parking was perfect for a chilly night and safe storage in the vehicle for ski equipment. As someone who hasn’t stayed in the town on Banff for over 10 years, I can definitely say this experience makes me want to immediately come back. Thanks to all the staff for helping me create the perfect weekend away.

Absolutely love the rundlestone! We stay here every time in Banff and love how it’s close to downtown, but easy to get out of town to the hill without waiting for the crazy busy crowds. We’ve stayed in a few different rooms, and they’ve all been wonderful!

Came here for a last-minute weekend getaway and booked a king room with a jetted tub. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was very clean, and quiet even with kids next door, we never heard anything. The hot tub was great, the pool was nice, and everything throughout the hotel was spotless. Really enjoyed our stay!

I chose to stay at the Rundelstone multiple times a year when I am travelling to the Banff area. I travel with my family or with work collegues (I'm a skier) and in both scenarios the property works great as they have multiple advantageous room options inlcuding multi-bedroom options, underground parking which is huge in the snowy and cold Rockies, an indoor pool and hot tub and a key location view views of Rundle and the Rockies. Most of all the value for the price is huge here.

Very nice place, all the place feels like confy place, just lacks the breakfast or room service however the small kitchen supports this. The chimney is good but the thermostat is very old

I recently stayed at the Rundlestone Lodge and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was a good size and well laid out, with a king bed, TV, desk, and a pullout sofa. One feature I really appreciated was the amount of lighting; there are plenty of lights, and each is individually controlled so you can customize the room’s brightness exactly how you want it. I do wish the bedside lights had a lower brightness option so they wouldn’t disturb anyone trying to sleep. Noise from other rooms could be heard at times, but it was never overly bothersome. The curtains are overlapped to help block out light; they aren’t perfect blackout, but they do a sufficient job. Temperature control in the room was easy, and the bed itself was excellent - great firmness, soft bedding, and pillows with varying firmness to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A couple of small in-room additions would be nice, such as to-go cups for coffee/tea in the morning and maybe even some hot chocolate packets. There’s no on-site restaurant, so little conveniences like that would go a long way. The pool was a bit underwhelming. It’s a simple rectangular pool with a maximum depth of 1.4m, somewhat dark in terms of lighting, and noticeably over-chlorinated, which seemed to bother several guests. On the positive side, the free heated underground parking and free bus pass were fantastic perks. The front stopping area, however, is very small and can get tricky if other guests aren’t parked well. Exiting the parkade is also a bit challenging when other vehicles are stopped near the entrance. The bathroom had some great touches: refillable full-size hygiene products that were actually quite good, a rainfall-style shower with excellent water temperature, heated flooring, a deep tub, and handrails. Unfortunately, the tub drained extremely slowly, and I found a couple of hairs on the tub surround upon first use, so a bit more maintenance and cleaning attention would be appreciated. The toilet paper and tissues were also very low quality. Overall, Rundlestone Lodge offers a comfortable stay with friendly service and some standout perks like heated parking and bus passes. With a few improvements to the pool, bathroom maintenance, and some small in-room amenities, it could be an even better experience.
